Manchester, NH (PRWEB) January 31, 2012

August Gus Fromuth of Manchester, NHs Freedom Energy Logistics (FEL Power) was elected as a Vice-Chair of the New England Power Pool (NEPOOL) Participants Committee during its recent Annual Meeting. The Participants Committee is the principal governing body of the 425-member NEPOOL.

Fromuth returns to the position of a Participants Committee Vice-Chair as the principal representative of the End User Sector after a one-year hiatus. The End User Sector is comprised of companies and institutions purchasing electricity directly from the wholesale market, consumer advocates, public interest organizations, and government entities.

NEPOOLs overall membership is made up of six Sectors: Generation, Transmission, Supplier, Publicly Owned Entity, Alternative Resources, and End User, comprising virtually all companies active in New Englands wholesale electricity markets. One representative from each Sector is elected annually to serve as an officer of the Participants Committee.

With the regions not-for-profit regional transmission organization (RTO), ISO New England, Inc., NEPOOL assures that the bulk power supply system within New England conforms with national reliability standards, that New Englands unbundled wholesale markets for electricity are open, non-discriminatory, and competitive, and that costs, benefits and responsibilities associated with participation in those competitive markets are allocated equitably among all market participants. NEPOOL is the principal stakeholder organization for the RTO, providing the key vehicle for collaboration among the RTO, New England state representatives and NEPOOL members on regional bulk power issues.

Fromuth is Managing Director of the Freedom Energy Logistics family of companies headquartered in Manchester, NH, and serving all of New England, New York and New Jersey.

Fromuths past endeavors include leading a company twice listed on Incs Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies and serving as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Trade Adjustment Assistance at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He is a graduate of George Washington University and received his MIPP from Johns Hopkins University.

The Freedom Energy Logistics family of companies obtains power at the lowest possible price for New England consumers. FEL Power (felpower.com) provides high-end energy management services in electricity and natural gas. Its unique Direct to Grid (or Self-Supply) model guides large-scale users into New Englands wholesale electricity market, guaranteeing them access to electricity at the lowest available cost. Halifax American Energy Company (haecpower.com) is a retail electric energy marketer which, in partnership with South Jersey Energy, specializes in transactions converting wholesale and bulk power products into shapes and durations suitable for industrial, commercial, institutional and governmental end users. FEL’s newest division, Resident Power (residentpower.com), is New Hampshires first competitive electricity aggregator to focus exclusively on residences and small businesses.

Teamcenter Centralizes Engineering Processes and Design Management

Teamcenter’s engineering process management solution allows you to integrate your global engineering teams by bringing together the product designs from all your sites within a single product data management (PDM) system. You can capture, manage and synchronize product design data, then automate your engineering change, validation and approval processes.
Teamcenter can manage data from all major CAD systems, so you don’t need to translate CAD data. Teamcenter converts multi-CAD data into the CAD-neutral JT format automatically, so it is transparent to users. You can bring parts from different CAD systems into a visual mockup, where you can visualize, probe, section, analyze and mark them up.
Teamcenter’s digital validation capabilities allow you to aggregate design changes continuously. With digital mockup always on, you can see design changes in real-time. Your designers can validate their changes, not only in the current configuration, but against every configuration.
Teamcenter’s automated workflow capabilities allow you to execute change processes that provide all product development stakeholders with instant access to necessary data. You can communicate and evaluate the impact of proposed changes with Teamcenter’s comprehensive configuration management capabilities.

Beyond component design, NX provides the most powerful CAD assembly design tools available. Assembly modeling support collaborative, high level design approaches. NX supports both top-down and bottom-up product assembly design, providing advanced assembly management and navigation to keep the team organized and on track.
NX design solutions are developed to handle the world’s most complex assembly designs, even those containing tens of thousands of components. NX has unrivaled capabilities for component simplification, enabling many thousands of components to be loaded and displayed in just seconds. Lightweight representations and enveloping techniques provide the ability to load as much of the product as is required to modify and evaluate parts properly. Designers can set the context of a particular task with filtering tools that select relevant components using criteria such as location and function. NX takes full advantage of Teamcenter to manage product configurations and variants.

Assembly arrangements in NX enable designers to create models that accurately represent components in alternate positions. For symmetrical assemblies NX provides mirroring tools that greatly reduce modeling time for opposite-hand components and subassemblies. Interference, clearance, and mass properties analysis tools in the assembly environment detect fit, weight, and center of gravity problems, assuring right-first time design and reducing reliance on physical mock-up and prototyping.
NX assembly management capabilities enable the easy management and manipulation of complex product relationships found in most products, including product configurations, options, and variants
